About

Hanna Yip
I was born and currently live in New York. The city has changed a lot since then, especially in the years I left to the west coast. I studied computer science at Stanford, and spent most of my free time playing frisbee and rehearsing with my chamber group at Braun Music Hall which led to a minor in music. I miss California, driving on an expansive highway with the windows down, good tunes on aux, the sun giving everything a halo. Today I build AI for chip design and physics-based hardware at Normal Computing.
I love a lot of things. I love to play piano and guitar, read and write, take pictures on trips, and keep a running list of everything I watch. I have a soul crushing fear of forgetting things. This site is the accumulation of what I consume and create, inspired by Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own — a room of the things I love, arranged so you can pick them up and take a look.
